Kia ora koutou katoa,
As the chair of the Canterbury-West Coast branch of the PHA and the Conference Convenor, I am delighted to share the details of this year's conference in Otautahi / Christchurch.
We are bringing together the diverse interests, roles and sectors that comprise public health-and we want you to be a part of it.
The conference focus is on values and connections across place and environments, people and communities, and knowledge and wellbeing. There is something for everyone, with topics ranging from housing quality and health, water, health screening and monitoring, minimising risks to health, children's health, wellbeing promotion and indigenous leadership. Our thought-provoking plenary speakers will take a deep look at a few key areas-take a look at the plenary speaker bios and our full programme.
It has been two years since the last Public Health Association of New Zealand Conference, and we know how important it is for public health to be on the leading edge of evidence, to network and to share our work across sectors throughout Aotearoa / New Zealand.
Register today-and we look forward to seeing you in October.
Nga mihi nui,
